The Original Moxie treatment is for curlies who may be scissor shy or who want to grow but still want the knowledge and education to jump start their introduction into the curly world and curly methods. This is a hands-on lesson that incorporates instruction on how to cleanse, condition style and finish your waves, curls, or coils using the best techniques for your desired outcome. This service does NOT include a cut.

You will leave with a customized folder filled with information on which products we used, how much we used, and how to apply them step-by-step and more!

You will bring in the products you are currently using on your curls so your curl expert can review ingredients to look for and avoid, as well as recommend what products are best for you based on The Original Moxie 7pt Curl Assessment that the team was Certified on in early 2019.
Your curl expert will determine which Original Moxie Detox treatment is best for you- HydroFill or HydroFlow. Both detox treatments remove mineral ( non-chelating) and swimming deposits, product buildup, makes hair more receptive to moisture retention, reduces frizz, strengthens and softens, helps with curl definition and curl grouping, curl activation, helps low porosity and high porosity achieve a balance of moisture from root to end. These treatments are also Vegan, silicone and sulphate free!
This treatment is perfect to do before a cut so that curls are at their BEST before being trimmed/shaped. This treatment has saved many a curlies from having to do the ”big chop” because the curls have been revived with customized moisture and protein based on your curl assessment.
We then customize a step by step hair routine and treatment plan based old YOUR curl type, density, and porosity, teaching you how to achieve the most consistent, frizz-free, in-shape curls you have ever had!

Finally- we discuss a long term goal and create your very own take home Curl-Scription so you can maintain your super fit curls! We also take your after photo and send you home with professional Southern Curl videos to show you how to visually recreate your curl type.
Following this service, you may book as a repeat client and have access to repeat cuts if you would like (as you have had the lesson portion here) or to do a full service cut and style.
